Maybe you’re not looking for a lesson, but just guitar-goon-related content. My favorite sites (in no order) to check out for this are:

  • Norman’s Rare Guitars - Norm has probably sold more vintage guitars to more famous musicians than anyone else…Almost daily content with very cool instruments. His employee - Michael Lemmo - is an excellent player who does the “Guitar of the Day” videos…

  • Matthew Scott - Matthew is an excellent musician and creates alot of classic-guitar content. Check out his latest video (as of today) -

  • Rick Beato — Most of you probably know him…I think he’s a good interviewer (he gets big names) and I really like his “What Makes This Song Great” series of videos. He’ll di-sect a favorite song and make you appreciate it even more.

  • Wings of Pegasus — “British Guitarist” - Fil - he’s proper musician and he appreciates proper musicians and he does awesome analysis videos on singing and playing content. Check him out…

  • Justin Johnson - You will not find a better slide player than Justin Johnson…I keep wondering when this guy is going to pop as a superstar…why is he not playing the Crossroads Festival, and any of that type of bullshit that supposed to be for “the best” players? Offers lessons too…

  • Trogly’s Guitar Show — This guy is a collector/dealer who focuses on Gibson-family guitars (he does others too, just not as much)…he “documents” examples by tearing them apart and showing the insides. He’s a little goofy but I like him!

  • Phillip McKnight - Phillip is a SUPER knowledgeable guitar tech and (former?) guitar dealer … he does tear-downs similar to Trogly, but also offers videos on how to fix stuff with your own gear.

  • Pop Goes the 60’s - This guy is an awesome Hippie who loves the Beatles (and other bands too), and he does really interesting videos on historical rock music.
